I have been a carpenter — by now, a master carpenter for more than 40 years. I love my job because there's nothing I can't do with wood, even metal, sometimes bronze, stainless steel, and titanium.

The pictures of my work in the work section of this website will give you an idea of the services I am able to provide.

My services include:

Work with all kinds of woods including EXOTIC WOODS: Macasar ebony, wenge, zebra wood (see pictures), teak (see pictures of zebra wood desks, corner and wall unit)

CUSTOM FURNITURE: exotic wood office desks and cabinets, credenza, buffet, cocktail table (feature picture), platform bed, end tables, built-in, bar with wine rack (with stainless appointments) - see pictures.

I can interpret and execute your custom furniture vision with the intuition, know-how, and attention to detail that comes from decades of experience working with wood. I will ask the necessary questions to make sure your custom furniture is STURDY, FUNCTIONAL, and BEAUTIFUL.

Furniture REFINISHING: staining, wood graining, distressing, clear-coating (even 'worm holes')

UPHOLSTERY.

CRAFTSMAN STYLE, anything, including chairs.
I can build a desk, credenza or side board with a MID-CENTURY style.
I'm now able to offer a natural bee's wax finish on soft woods, especially re-claimed doug fur (smells great).
Solid maple, birch and or walnut kitchen counter tops, either full length horizontal, end grain or checker board.
CUSTOM CLOSET BUILD OUTS.
CUSTOM MILL WORK, glue-ups and veneer lay ups.
I know you would love a solid Teak dining room table with a fine cutlery drawer and two removable leafs.
CUSTOM OFFICE FURNITURE such as a board room table with in-lay.
STRESSING and WEATHERING: Enhance a piece with custom patina and hand rubbed, oiled bronze.
RECLAIMED WOOD, such as a BARN DOOR in your kitchen, made from reclaimed lumber or a cocktail table using repurposed wood with rusty nail holes and hardware scars. Or a kitchen table made built from 80 year old "original growth" real 2" x 4"s !
Dove-tail custom made drawers on BLUMOTION tracks—even corner drawers (see pictures).
Handmade cabinets for VANITY, KITCHEN, GARAGE, LAUNDRY, or even MAN-CAVES.
Speaking of garages, ever seen an "appliance garage" to hide your blender and other small appliances? Ask me about it!
HANDMADE DOORS including french, and WINDOWS, bay windows or side-lights, and garden pop-out windows (see picture of mahogany double doors with solid bronze kick plate).
Custom pass-through from kitchen to dining room with beautiful wood eat-bar in teak, purple heart, zebra or Macasar ebony (ok, maple, too).
Blind shelf supports.
Never kiss by the garden gate, unless you don't happen to have one, in which case, let me provide a beautiful clear redwood or mahogany one for that purpose (see picture).
Pantry in the kitchen, that looks great and saves space.
Eat-bar in the kitchen with lovely exotic wood such as zebra, wenge', walnut, butcher block or teak; so comfortable and is the center of the party.
